Shot at The Trapp Door and Urban Lounge, The first part of this video is pulled from a soon-to-be vastly reworked documentary I did called ‘All The Way Home’. The footage was in terrible shape; major digital noise, grain, bad resolution, interlaced frames, poor lighting and lack of color correction. The audio track was an awful live recording.
I’m happy to say that’s all been fixed. But that left me with a different problem; I had no existing footage left to finish the song. I went through every clip I had, and I only found some shots of Tom acting like a maniac with his shirt off. But he wasn’t singing ‘Light Her On Fire’. Luckily, he holds his hand and microphone close to his mouth, so I knew I could make it work if I tapped into his body language. The fact that he doubled up his vocals on the track, made the translucent overlay effect work even better, with dubbed in images of the rest of the band.
